After founding the UK-based Cernotas laboratory and supporting leading probiotic brands, he is now taking the next step with Tyybac; a science-led brand built to turn rigorous research into better everyday health.

Our idea was simple; we wanted to develop a gut health product that is truly effective and beneficial. To achieve this, we set ourselves some simple rules:
- (i) our friendly bacteria should be alive and active in the product (no powders or capsules)
- (ii) our formula should be simple and made up of clean ingredients (no added sugar or artificial additives)
- (iii) it would be appealing to everyone (dairy free and pleasant tasting)

Our extensive research - following our rules - led us to a water-based formula with our mix of live friendly bacteria. What we needed next was the base that would deliver them to your gut. We wanted something that would enrich and feed our bacteria but also taste good.
Dates, Dr Jawal's favourite snack, were the key to our formula. They provided the perfect natural fuel source for our bacteria. Unlike refined sugars, dates create a rich nutrient environment where live cultures can thrive, producing a uniquely smooth flavor and potent efficacy.
